Small Employer Group Insurance
All the tools you need to take care of your employees

       If you have two or more employees, The American Legion's Small Employer Group Insurance may be an ideal way for you to provide benefits for them. Use it to help retain your best employess and to protect your own family. Benefits can be purchased separately by most small businesses, including Legion Posts and Departments.

Medical. Including "Open Access" HMO plans which do not require a primary care physician or a referral to see specialists within the local network of providers. The Plan includes prescription drug benefits and worldwide emergency room care.
Dental. Available to groups with two or more unrelated employees. Benefit levels vary by location and include low deductibles; preventive, basic and major care coverage.
Term Life/Accidental Death. Provides up to $100,000.00 of coverage per employee, as well as the option of coverage for your employee's spouse and/or children.
Short-term Disability. Pays benefits from day one of an accident or day eight of an illness. Features up to 26 weeks of coverage with benefits of up to $750.00 per week.
Long-term Disability. For groups of 10 or more employees. Pays up to 60% of salary up to age 65 and includes an "own-occupation disability definition."*
*Own occupation means the job you were performing at the time of disability.
