The American Legion Short Term Recovery Plan
Your latest GUARANTEED benefit pays you up to $4,000 a year
For Legionnaires age 65 and over. Your newest benefit helps you pay for home health care expenses when you're recovering at home after a hospital stay. It's called The American Legion Short Term Recovery Plan. Medicare and TRICARE For Life (TFL) cover a lot, but they were never meant to cover everything. This latest benefit was designed and negotiated to take care of what other plans don't. Covered services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing care, companion care, home health and homemaker services. Not available in all states, and this plan is underwritten by Hartford Life Insurance Company.
